Catbird is a health insurance advocate built for patients. It helps you understand your benefits, figure out what care will cost before you receive it, spot billing errors, and navigate the healthcare system with confidence — in plain English, without jargon.

Is Catbird an insurance company?

No. We don't sell insurance, and we're not affiliated with any insurer. We're an independent advocate — our only job is to help you understand and use the coverage you already have.

Is Catbird a broker?

No. We don't earn commissions or referral fees from insurers, providers, or anyone else. We have no financial incentive to steer you toward any particular plan, provider, or treatment.

Will Catbird sell my data?

What is the research community?

We're inviting a small group of people to help shape what we're building — through user research sessions, product feedback, and early access to test new features. This isn't a waitlist for a finished product. It's an invitation to help build it.

What does joining involve?

Participation is entirely optional and on your schedule. We may reach out to schedule a 30–60 minute research conversation, ask for feedback on early designs, or invite you to test a feature before it's released. You can opt out at any time.
